Submissions
We hope you will consider the Journal of Policy History for publishing your scholarly examinations of the history of public policy.
Manuscripts should be typed, double-spaced, and should generally not exceed 8,000 words (Microsoft Word format preferred). Citations should appear as endnotes following The Chicago Manual of Style format for humanities. All submissions should contain the following:
- A cover letter introducing the submission
- A copy of the manuscript
- A separate title page which lists author's name, position, organization, department, contact information (address, email, phone number), and date of submission
- An author biographical sketch not exceeding 50 words
- An abstract summarizing the submission not exceeding 150 words

Manuscripts will be reviewed anonymously by scholars with expertise in the article subject matter, so authors' names should appear only on the title page.
